They created a classroom assistant robot capable of enhancing student-teacher communication, all while ensuring that control and final decisions always rest with the teacher. Designed with classroom needs in mind, this AI-powered robot can detect when a student wants to ask a question, notify the teacher, and wait for approval before engaging. This flow of interaction ensures that the teacher remains in charge while allowing for smoother, more inclusive participation from all students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The robot leverages the Vincibot platform, known for its educational potential, paired with a Vision AI module that allows it to identify color signals. It uses its camera to look for red cards, which students use to signal a question.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Detecting a Student\u2019s Question<\/strong><br>Upon seeing a red card, the robot stops, turns its LED red, and announces that a student has a question. A question mark appears on its display, and it physically turns to face the student.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Waiting for Teacher Approval<\/strong><br>The robot does not respond until the teacher displays a green card.
