Recognizing the need for Special Education services in Oman, the Al Injaz Section for Special Needs has been established to cater to those students whose academic and developmental needs cannot be met through the regular mainstream educational system.
Every student is assessed, and an Individual Education Plan (IEP) is drawn up which recognizes the strengths and abilities of the student, using them to enable growth in areas of weakness. The special educators work in close cooperation with the parents to ensure the overall development of the children. The centre also helps parents to collaborate with other professionals like Doctors, Counselors, Therapists and so on, to get the best possible care for their students.
We believe that working in partnership with parents throughout a child’s schooling career is extremely important and necessary. Over the past years, the parents have expressed their satisfaction at the milestones their children have achieved.
I invite prospective parents to visit and understand the range of facilities at the Al Injaz Section for Special Needs. You will receive a warm welcome from the staff, along with an opportunity to look around the centre and make inquiries.
I look forward to meeting you.
